The soul has been removed from every living thing on earth. Going through the motions of everyday life as a young person often leaves people wanting, and looking for more, or trying to retroactively change events. List of Things That Never Happened explores the contemporary feeling of discomfort, unease, hopelessness, and malaise that often affects young people. The project uses light and colour to create a feeling of uncertainty which is passed onto the viewer, – who is invited to wonder about the context of the images and immerse themself into the world of the images.

Through these images, I would like to create a portal into the life of someone; a person who tries to make the most of all they can, but is still finding themself end up short compared to those around them. Someone who notices the constant flow of entropy pushing all they have away from them and to people who perpetuate a system that you have no escape from; this feeling of malaise creeping into every aspect of their life as they constantly try and work towards some ideal of a future where they feel accepted and understood, but none-the-less still have to struggle in the here and now if they want to have any hope of moving towards their goals.
